          CAPITAL  EXPENDITURE  : 

Capital  Expenditure  is  an  amount  spend on  valuable goods or  services  used  for  the  long  duration.  We  can  avail benefit  from  this  expenditure  in  the current  years  and  in the  future  years  too. It  has  a  duration  of  more  than  one  year. In a  financial  statement  it  is  posted  in  the  Balance  Sheet  after that  it  is  capitalized  .

          REVENUE   EXPENDITURE  :

  

Revenue  expenditure  is  a particular  amount   spend  on on  goods  or  services  consumed  in  the  short  duration . We  can  avail  benefit  from  this  expenditure  in  the  current  year  only  . It  has  duration of  up  to  the  one  year. In  financial  statement  it  is  posted  in the  Trading  and  Profit  and Loss  Account  but  it  is  not  capitalized  .
