       2.       Explain   what  the  reasons   for  the  following  are .
(i)                   Einstein  leaving  the  school  in  Munich   for  good.

Ans :  Einstein   hated  the  strict  discipline   of  the  school  in  Munich . he  had  to  clash  with  the  teacher.  So  he  left  the  school  for  good.

(ii)                Einstein  wanting  to   study  in  Switzerland  rather  than  in  Munich

Ans : Einstein ‘s  parents   moved   to  Milan  leaving  him  with  relatives.  After  long  discussion  he  decided  to  study  in  German – speaking  Switzerland  .  it  was  liberal   also.

(iii)               Einstein   seeing  in  Mileva   an  ally.

Ans : He  saw  an  ally  in  Mileva  as  she  was  a “ clever  creature” to  him.

Ans :  Einstein   called  his  desk  drawer   at  the  patent   office  a  “bureau  of  theoretical   physics”  Because ,  in  secret   he  was  developing  his   own  ideas  while   assessing  other’s  inventions.

Ans :  Einstein    wrote  a  letter   to  Franklin  Roosevelt   warning  that  the Nazi’s  might  use  atomic  energy  that   would   cause  severe  destruction, an    atomic  blast  might   destroy  a  whole  port.

       5.       How   did   Einstein  react   to  the  bombing   of  Hiroshima   and Nagasaki ?

Ans :   Einstein    was  deeply  shocked   at  the   huge  destruction   caused  by  the   atomic   explosion   of  Hiroshima   and  Nagasaki  .  he  wrote   a letter   to  the   United   Nations  proposing   the  formation   of   world  government. 

      6.       Why  does  the  world  remember  Einstein  as   a  “world citizen” ?

Ans :  The   world   remembers   Einstein   as  a “ world  citizen “ because  he  was   seriously   concerned    about  the   safety   of  the  world.  He  wanted  to   bring   an  end  to  the  arm  buildup.  He  opposed   the  use  of  atomic  bomb   and  liked   to  form  a  world   government  to  bring    world   peace.
